XmlHttpRequest and IE 7.0 - Bug??

Hello All,

We have an autosuggest box in our web application that uses the
XmlHttpRequest object to query a table and get the results asynchronously.
Off late, our users are complaning that whenever they type a letter in that
autosuggest box, their machines are freezing. The problem started with a
single user, now slowly subset of users are complaining that their machines
are freezing when they type in something.

Does anyone know what is going with XmlHttpRequest and I.E 7.0? What can be
freezing the machines...? Is it the excessive memory consumption or something
else?

I am not able to replicate this problem on my machine which has IE 7.0
installed with 1 GB of RAM.

Thanks for all your pointers!!!
