aspx page stops responding but asp page works.

Every day or every two days, our aspx pages stop responding and we
have to stop and restart the www service.
The regular asp pages work just fine during this time.

Any ideas?

Check Event Log
The only entry around the time of the last crash is as follows:

A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' exceeded time
limits during shut down. The process id was '5076'.
