collecting data from client systems to webservers

I would like to develop a reporter tool i.e. a web application and its
functionality is to collect log information from remotely located
client systems and those systems are not accessible over the internet.
Can someone suggest me best me the best approach to implement this
functionality using the microsoft.net technologies.

Thanks for your suggestions.
