ContentType = "application/pdf"

Hi!, I'm using Visual Studio 6.0 and I'm trying to open an asp page
like a .pdf file, I used
Response.ContentType="application/pdf" in my asp page but it doesn't
work

This is an example:

<%@ Language=VBScript %>
<%Response.ContentType="application/pdf"%>

<html>
<HEAD>
<META NAME="GENERATOR" Content="Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0">
</HEAD>
<body >
<table border=1>
<tr>
<td>1</td>
<td>2</td>
<td>3</td>
<td>4</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>5</td>
<td>6</td>
<td>7</td>
<td>8</td>
</tr>
</table>
</body>
</html>

It's works fine with Response.ContentType="application/vnd.ms-excel"

Is there any other thing that I have to do?

Thank you.

As far as I am aware, HTML will not render in a PDF file.

If you really want to generate a PDF, there are a number of APIs out there.
If you want to do it the hard way, there are documents about the format on
adobe's website.
