find a projects .NET version in Visual Studio

Hi

Is there a way to easily tell the version pf .NET a project is compiled
using in Visual Studio?

I have a solution with a few projects, but I have a feeling some of the
projects are compiling in .net 1.1, while some are compiling in 2.0 - can't
find the info anywhere.

Thanks,

Dan

Do you have source codes or assemblies?
For source codes your can differ projects by cproj file, and for assemblies
via Assembly.ImageRuntimeVersion

Hi Dan,

Are some of those projects in your solution originally built with former
version(IDE) of the .net framework? As far as I know, the Visual Studio
2003 and Visual Studio 2005 can not create .NET applications targeting a
single version. Visual Studio 2003 only support developing .NET application
targeting VERSION 1.1 while Visual Studio 2005 only support developing .NET
application targeting version 2.0.

If you do want to check the target version, you can use reflector or ildasm
tool to lookup the referenced system assemblies' version(such as mscorlib,
system.dll. ...) since currently .net framework runtime version is coupled
with framework assemblies's version.

Sincerely,

Steven Cheng
