Programmatically Modify Site-Map Node title in Memory

Hi

I'm trying to change my bread crumbs titles
but it doesn't seem to work , i can change the url but the title never
changes

i'm using a sitemapHandler class and implemented like this :
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...25(VS.80).aspx
some bits of code
SiteMapNode nodeCopy =
SiteMap.Providers["SiteMapProviderName"].CurrentNode.Clone(true);
SiteMapNode tempNode = nodeCopy;

tempNode.Url = "test";
tempNode.Title = tempNode.Title.Replace("distributor",
e.Context.Request.QueryString["DiName"].ToString());

if i execute tempNode.Title.Replace("distributor",
e.Context.Request.QueryString["DiName"].ToString()) in immediatewindow
the value "distributor" is replace
but at run time it's as if its not being assigned properly

also i'm using a global resource file for localizing my titles, could
this be the problem

thanks
