Hey AJAX People

Ok, AJAX for Dot.Net seems to work well enough.

BUT the designer integration is so poor as to be non existant.

Why when I add a new datagrid and wish to bind it thru a database query
which uses a dropdown, do I have to move the dropdown out of any update
panels???????

I have gotten unusefully good at this technique.

As well I made a mistake in creating the grid and having deleted it from
code, somewhere (oh somewhere) there is residual code that screws things up
if I use the same name for the SQLDataSource. I guess there are lots of
files we don't get to see and those files cause problems. I have cleaned
the solution and may have to do what I have done in other cases like this.
Create a new web site and copy all the source I know of. It works but
really it does take away from RAD..
