local client machine

Hi,

Is there a way to determine the name of the machine that a page is viewed
on?

Ie, if Fred is using a PC called BURT, is there a way to determine that Fred
is using BURT to run is Browser to view the page?

"It depends".

If you are talking about an internet site with anonymous access the answer
is no.

I was thinking of an intranet site.

Cheers

You could resolve the workstation name using System.Net.Dns.
