problem in execution

hi,
well i am a new entrant to .net platform.
i started asp.net .
i am having a polling script . it is running fine on
localhost with visual web developer
but i am getting problems when i try n run it on the website . it's
having asp.net support and i copy the script to a folder in www
directory but all it does is display the coding of the page in
browser.
i havent configured anything on the control panel.
please help
