Does anyone know how can I show that (should be a div I suppose) to a user
for pages taking a long time to load?
You could use bunch of AJAX. Have the page load with 'loading...' and then
use an AJAX call to grab all the rest of the data and render it. Not sure
how practical that would be, though and it'd be pointless for anyone with
high bandwidth connections.
Source code for all the examples is available in the individual pages.
