ASP.NET assignment

Can anyone recommend an ASP.NET assignment that I could do in order to build
up a portfolio of ASP.NET web sites?

Setup the Membership, Roles and Profiles and show how to require secure
logins to pages that can filter content on the page depending on the role
assigned to the user.
