Is there a remote Global Assembly Cache

Is there such a thing as a remote Global Assembly Cache?

I am trying to determine if it is feasable to have multiple servers each
running its own web application but that each server shares a common set of
strong named assemblies that reside in one location. The strong named shared
assemblies contain common business logic for the web applications.

Thanks,
G. Dorazio
