best ASP.NET book for a beginner?

best ASP.NET book for a beginner?

I would definitely agree with the ASP.Net Unleashed recommendation. Just
remember to get the correct version of ASP.Net. You'll want ASP.Net 2.0
books as that's the latest. Most books that are current should have ASP.Net
2.0 in the title.

Wrox Press (www.wrox.com ) usualyl has good titles as well. They have a
number of beginning books on ASP.Net, usually tailored to a specific
language so you can choose C# or VB as your preferred edition.

The Unleashed book though is definitely one of my favorites.
