Installing an ASP.NET app - what settings?

Hi;

According to the WIX post at
http://www.mail-archive.com/wi******.../msg03741.html an
ASP.NET installer is supposed to set WebApplicationExtension for 42 different
extensions. However, my testing shows that these are already set.

Do we need to set these? And are the settings in that link correct?

Hi Dave,

Yes, those extensions should have been automatically installed/registered
when you have installed .net framework on the server and register the
ASP.NET through aspnet_regiis.exe for the IIS server.
