Add profile data

Hi,

I am creating a new user using the following:

Membership.CreateUser(tbUsername.Text, tbPassword.Text, tbEmail.Text,
String.Empty, String.Empty, False, status)

Now I need to add profile data to this. Do I need to authenticate it
before I do so? Something like:

If Membership.ValidateUser(tbUsername.Text, tbPassword.Text) Then

FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(tbUsername.Text, True)

...

I am not sure if this is the right approach.

Maybe I should just find a way to access the profile of the recently
created user and add values to it.
