Looking for a Case Study or Patteren

Hi,
No idea, if this is the right forum to ask this question. Please
forgive me if it irritates you.

I am about to design a web-based project which is somewhat like Dot net
Nuke (only the idea of one application having many websites.) i-e. we
have a website, our users will register and we will gvie them an
address like

www.companyName.oursiteName.com

We will be using database to keep information unique to a user and our
website data + look and feel will change accordingly. This means that
we will be having the same code files and web pages for all the users,
so i am thinking that how we will give such addresses to our users.
Secondly, I am also looking for some Microsoft patteren or practice
which can give me an idea of how best to implement it. I have no idea
where to start it and how I am gonna achieve it. I am about to study
DNN documentation and looking for other stuff. I will really
appreciate, if someone can guide me in the right direction.
