How to keep a dropdownlist selection

Hello - I have datalist that is bound to a dataTable. I also add and remove
rows from the datasource and then rebind the datalist. When I do this I loose
the selected item in the dropdownlists displayed in my datalist. Does anyone
know how to keep the selected values in my dropdownlist even though i am
rebinding the datalist??

Thank you in advance.

-Nate
