Web Client Book

Hi all,

I've recently been charged with the task of developing a web client for a
VB.NET Windows client which connects to a peer application using SQL Server
as the primary data source.
It needs to accommodate the displaying of video from IP cameras using
ActiveX controls. I would also like to utilise Ajax/Atlas technology.

Does anyone know of any good books that provide a good grounding on
developing a large web application making use of web services? Perhaps
something on project management which would aid the requirements gathering
process, technology selection, design, etc.

Regards,

goto www.asp.net for the best AJAX information.
I would to with the MS PRESS Core ASP.Net and Advanced ASP.Net
I would recommend a separate book for your project management needs.

If you need to send image data from the webclient to the host, then also
have a look at Remoting along with web services.

HTH
