q; Publish under Build menu

Hello,
In my ASP.Net 2.0 web application that usese ReportViewer (I converted this
from ASP.Net 1.1) I use Publish under Build menu item to publish the web
site in a different folder: WebSiteDeployed in the same machine so that I can
test it. If I directly run my source code in IE I do not see any problem but
when I run it in WebSiteDeployed after a report run, the buttons and index
changed on dropdown boxes are not performing anymore as if the lost on-click
events.
What might be the problem?
