FormsAuthentication

P: n/a
Hi,

I am using FormsAuthentication in my web app. I was wondering if I could
add some user specific data to the FormsAuthentication cookie. Is this
possible?

Thanks

Hi,

yes it is. FormAuthenticationTicket has UserData property which will be
included to the ticket, basically kept with the cookie. You can use it.

Thanks for the info. I need more than one field to store the user data I
want. I think the best option for me is to pass data in the url.

Thanks
