Need help with something simple

All I want to do is create a fairly simple submission form using an
objectdatasource, with maybe a drop down list, a radio check list, a
textbox, and other pretty straight forward stuff. I cannot find a
tutorial explaining how to do this, step-by-step, in VS 2005.
Its making my transition from classic ASP to ASP.NET 2.0 a very unhappy
and frustrating eperience.
I've bought three books and none of them have the information. I've
scanned the web for over a week and can't find the information.
Is there anyone who can point me to what I need - a step-by-step
tutorial for creating a plain vanilla form which submits data to a
database using VS2005 and C# via an objectdatasource?
