How to Refresh Controls

Hi,

I would like to know a way to do this with Asp.NET with vb.net 2003 as
codebehind:

I put data into a datagrid and i can see it.
What i want is, when the user select another month into a dropdownlist,
change the color of the bgColor of this datagrid for like 2 seconds and
then change back the color to original color(white) with the new datas
in it.

I want to do this because the user can't realise when the datagrid is
refreshed, no visual reference so changing the color can tell the user
that something happened to the datagrid.

Thanks a lot!

You could use javascript with a timer call, but its messy,
and it would have to be on the client imao.
