vs2005 publish website doing bad things, bad things

K, got a website, need to publish it to the test server. Publish the
website, k. As its publishing, it creates a copy of my bin directory under
my bin directory on my dev box. Now I've got ...\coolwebsite\bin\bin with
everything in my \coolwebsite\bin directory. It then tries to publish these
to the test server, but the test server chokes on this. Unfortunately for
me, I have tons of coolness under my bin directory, so this whole rejection
process takes about a half hour. Right now, I have to publish the website,
watching the process in the output window, and cancel it when I start getting
the errors. I then have to go into my bin directory and delete the twin bin.
Okay, so my question is wth? TIA.

Doesn't sound too cool to me, but you can always go to plan "B" which could
be to simply FTP what "YOU WANT" over to the server. Or see if publishing to
a local folder fixes it, and then ftp from that.
