Master Pages and Page_Error

In ASP.net 1.1 I created a based class that was inherited by all of the pages
in my project. That way I had a centralized location to handle/log any
uplanned errors that occured on any page.

I can still do a similar thing in ASP.net 2.0 by putting a base class in the
"App_Code" folder but any errors that occur don't have any of the look and
feel I created in the Master page that all of the pages in this new project
are using. I've tried placing "Page_Error" into the master page I'm using
but it doesn't seem to capture the errors. It seems like this should be
possible (easy even) but after researching a few days I can't find anything
that works for me.

Can anyone point me to a way to handle "Page_Error" events from a master
page? Or have a base class located in "App_Code" render with a master page?

Regards,
David
