click on control and tab order doesn't update

Coming up with a title was hard for this ;0)

Picture this: 10 controls on a form in a single column.
Click in the first control to give focus
Press tab to move to the next (second control)
Click on the fifth control to give it focus
Press tab and focus jumps to control #3 - I would have expected it to jump
to sixth control

huh? Why?

Is this normal? How do I solve this? Any ideas would be great, my googling
hasn't turned up much...

Thanks for reading,
Steve

It doesn't sound right. It should work like you are expecting.

Maybe you can point us to a page with this odd behaviour on it? What
browser? Have you tried different ones?

Are you specifying a TabIndex?
