Conversion error in GridView

Hi all,
when I am in updating mode of my GridView I receive the error:

Error converting data type nvarchar to numeric.

because the field that the user is editing is a decimal(10,2) in the
database (is a price).
How can I overcame this problem?

My field is a BoundField

Thanks
