TreeView bad for SEO?

I just implemented a tree view based on a sitemap, a very cool feature.
However when I look at my source, I see so much gobblety goop it was
scary.

Here's an excerpt:

<input type="hidden" name="__VIEWSTATE" id="__VIEWSTATE"
value="/wEPDwUKLTcwODg1MTE2Ng9kFgJmD2QWAgIFD2QWGgIGD2QWAmY PD2QWBB4Lb25tb3VzZW92ZXIFKnRoaXMuc3JjPScuLi8uLi9pb WFnZXMvZ2VuZXJhbHRpcHNfb24uanBnJx4Kb25tb3VzZW91dAU rdGhpcy5zcmM9Jy4uLy4uL2ltYWdlcy9nZW5lcmFsdGlwc19vZ mYuanBnJ2QCCA9kFgJmDw9kFgQfAAUqdGhpcy5zcmM9Jy4uLy4 uL2ltYWdlcy90cnVja3JlbnRhbF9vbi5qcGcnHwEFK3RoaXMuc 3JjPScuLi8uLi9pbWFnZXMvdHJ1Y2tyZW50YWxfb2ZmLmpwZyd kAgoPZBYCZg8PZBYEHwAFKXRoaXMuc3JjPScuLi8uLi9pbWFnZ XMvbW92aW5naG9tZV9vbi

This is no joke only 1/25 of the total statement, whatever this means.
Also further down is something like:

<td><div style="width:20px;height:1px"></div></td><td><div
style="width:20px;height:1px"></div></td><td><img
src="/WebResource.axd?d=vQiahGu2UqzP02-ATN2jO733z6871FdtjtPmO7XEeOc1&amp;t=63291332282578 1250"
alt="" /></td><td style="white-space:nowrap;"><a
class="ctl00_TreeView1_0" href="/movingguide/general/newhome.aspx"
id="ctl00_TreeView1t4">Finding Your New Home</a></td>

...which is there for each entry in my sitemap. If any search engine
crawler came to my site, it would be so damn confused and not really
understand what my content is...right? Is there any way to prevent
such crazy source code or am I stuck with it? Will this negatively
hurt my SEO rankings and spiderability?

Thanks in advance,
Amit
