Can datagrid columns be resized using mouse like in excel sheet et

I need to implement this feature, that the user shoul be able to resize the
columns width at runtime. firstt off i want to know that it is possible and
if yes how to go about it.

Not without recoding the DataGrid with some DHTML. I am sure, if you search,
you will find an overridden DataGrid that does this on one of the code sites
and save yourself some time.
