Both the Hyperlink web server control & the LinkButton web server
control display text as links; so what are the differences between the
2 web server controls?

Thanks,

Arpan

The Hyperlink control takes the user directly to the specified location
without posting back to the server.
The LinkButton control posts back to the server so custom operations can be
performed, which may or may not include redirecting the user to a new page.

A hyperlink control acts just like a hyperlink in HTML
Whereas a LinkButton is just the same and acts the same as a Button control,
without the button 'look'
