I found the following post while researching this subject: " Refresh
Parent from iframe Page_Load " This is EXACTLY what I need to do.
However, my lack of experience and C# knowledge simply do not allow me
to adapt this to my situation.
Would someone in this group be able to 'translate' this for me? I am
in an ASP/VB environment (not .NET).
I realize this may be considered off-topic for this group, but have
posted this here because orig post was in this group AND out of sheer
desperation!
Link WILL break...

I don't know what terms (such as 'Sub page code-behind class code')
mean. I understand VB, but this is all C# to me!
My summary:
Parent page (default.asp)
'Login.asp' in iFrame within parent
Submit button on login.asp posts UN and PW to
"validate.asp"
If login matches database, "validate.asp"
redirects to info.html which replaces login.asp
IN THE iFRAME
BUT parent page does NOT update...
Resposnse.Write ("username") on parent stays
Null
How can I make the parent page "refresh" or "reload" when validate.asp
calls info.htm into the iFrame??
Thanks, all... I'm really struggling!
