Can't telnet 127.0.0.1 25 since install

Howdy,

I recently installed Visual Studio 2005 and I believe since then I cannot
telnet to my local machine on port 25. Furthermore, my .net applications can
no longer send emails through my local machine, or my server for that
matter. I cannot telnet to any other mail servers on port 25, however I can
telnet to my workstation from my server on port 25 with no problem. It
appears something is denying a loopback or turn around? I don't know! Again,
I'm confident in saying that this started when I installed VS 2005. Any
ideas?

Thanks!!

Can you verify your SMTP virtual server is still alive in your IIS manager?
