Subscribe to event in master page

Hi, i'm dealing with the current scenario: I have a masterpage with a
usercontrol in it. This usercontrol fires a custom event, now what i
need is to capture this event in a content page. Is this possible? or
do i have to capture the event in the master page, fire a different one
and capture the last from the content page?

Any help would be appreciated (in VB or c#)

Thanks in advance
