SQL Server 2005 and the .NET Framework 1.1

I am thinking about upgrading to SQL Server 2005. Question is: can I
keep using the .NET Framework 1.1 (and existing web applications that
were written using ADO.NET to SQL 2000) without any problem other than
-- I would imagine -- not being able to exploit the new features of SQL
2005 in the development environment?
Thank you.
