LoginStatus Control Issue

Hi Folks,
I'm using the ASP.NET 2.0 LoginStatus control and am having a
frustrating time! I created a basic testbed web site added the control
to the default page, added a login.aspx page with a login control and
edited the web.config to use forms authentication and point to the
login.aspx page. It works beautifully.

However, when I do the same in my my main web app a problem occurs.
When I run the app, the loginstatus control is starting up in the
"already logged in mode" and I don't get an oppurtunity to log in. I
havcen't logged in and clicked 'remember me'.. i never got that chance.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated....

Many thanks
Pete
