Expand Selected Node on Page (re) Load

I have a TreeView on a Web Page. OK...Big Deal. It's based on a
Web.sitemap. Everything's ok so far. Works Great...except when a
person selects a specific Node, the new page loads Tree is all closed
up again. Is this a Bug? I've been trying to figure this out for a
couple of days now. I can get the Parent Node value from
SiteMap.CurrentNode, but I can't find anything on how to get that
Parent Node to Expand again.

I've tried to set the Parent Node to a profile so that I could try and
use that to Expand the node, but I found out that I can't even do that
because once a URL is used, it puts it in Navigation Mod and disables
the SelectedNodeChanged event.

I know that MSFT monitors this postings. Would someone please help me
(and I know others) with this. Even If you could point me to
something, and Article, a Help File...Anything.

Is it possible or is there a method for a treeview to expand down to the node by giving the node? Eg. I was given a node say at level 3 and would like to expand at that node.
