2 questions about vwde & db!

Hey

I have 2 questions about visual web developer 2005 express edition:

1)
As far as I know visual web developer 2005 express edition has a built in
limitaion to only local databases, but can a vwd project be opened in a full
version of visual studio 2005 and rebuilt? and after being rebuilt configure
it to access db on another server? is that possible?

2)
If I remember correctly I could in visual c# standard 2003 install a MySql
Connector and then bypass the limiation set in visual c# standard. I could
with MySql Connector access mysql databases on a different server using the
api provided with this mySql Connector... Is it so in vwd also? I mean that
if I install this mySql connector can I then acces mysql databasess on
another server from my vwd project?
