event button for properties toolbar missing for form

Having a problem with visual studio 2005 doing ASP.net.

when in source mode (i.e. looking at the html directly), in the
properties toolbar is an option called "DOCUMENT". It has some basic
information like culture and title. From what I remember, when you
switch to design view though, it should present an option in the
properties toolbar drop down that has the actual form object. This
shows more detailed information such as an event toolbar button which
allows you to subscribe to more events.

The problem I am having is that when I switch from source to design,
the "DOCUMENT" option just stays in the properties drop-down and there
are no other options. This means that the event button doesn't show up
in the properties toolbar.
From what I remember with working with vs.net 2003, I never had this

problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Jonathan
