Tree control - can't configure it in particular way

I am using the ASP.Net 2 tree control and site map data source. I want to
display the content of the tree control in a particular way but can't find
out how to do it. I don't think it is possible.

What I want to do is to have the tree control not display any +/- icons -
this is easy as it can be switched off. But the tree then opens up all of
the branches. What I want it to do is to only open up the branch that is
currently selected i.e. the user has clicked on the branch:

Branch1
Branch2 (selected)
Leaf1
Leaf2
Branch3

Then if Branch1 is selected you would get:

Branch1 (selected)
Leaf1
Branch2
Branch3

Is it possible?
