VB.net - Execute code after reurn statement?

Would "someSubProcedure" execute in the following example?
Or is the rest of the function ignored once the Return statement is
hit?

Thanks

Dim strTemp As Sting = "A"
Return strTemp
someSubProcedure()
End Function
