ETA for Service Pack for .NET Framework 2.0 and VS.NET

About 6 months ago MS announced that a service pack for .NET Framework 2.0
and VS.NET (2003 and 2005) would be available around mid-year. Any update on
that ETA? (we're approaching mid-year now)

Just curious (and yes, I googled this and found nothing helpful)

Are these VS-specific service packs? Or are they *also* service packs for
their respective .NET Framework version?

I don't think the .Net Framework themselves are getting Service Packs.

The SPs are for VS :

http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/su...3/default.aspx

We already have a NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1, released in 2004 :
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

There's several OS-specific versions of .Net Framework 1.1 SP1 at :
http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframewo...1/default.aspx

Additionally, bookmark this page :
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/su...pped_releases/

It has links to *all* the shipped updates for VS and the .Net Frameworks.
