XML ordering with gridview

Is there a way to control the order in which records are displayed using a
gridview of an XML file, or is it always just read from the top down?

TIA

It will always read top-down, but you can provide a Xslt file and use
that to create node ordering.

Have a look at http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2002/07/03/transform.html
and http://weblogs.asp.net/rajbk/articles/431322.aspx
for a quick start.
