display processing image when uploading files

Hi,

How do you display a busy/status image in a web application when you
upload files to the server.
Using vb.net
thanks in advance

Interesting question. The simple answer is just to show an animated gif
(like expedia.com does when searching for flights); however, this isn't a
true progress bar. The other answer would be to use AJAX to show the status
of the upload. A good example of this can be seen at beta.yousendit.com.
