window.status

Hi guys,

in the old days we use this script to delete the link address when the user
passed the mouse under a link:

<a href="...." onmouseover="javascript:window.status='';">link</a>

in ASP.NET 2.0 how can I do this programatically for all links, instead do
it for every link?

is there a override function that I can use to acomplish this feature?

Thank you in Advance.

I don't think there is an override function, but you could create your own
control that does that by inheriting the HyperLink class. You could also
create a shared function that iterates through the Controls collection and
adds the JavaScript to all HyperLink Controls. Even though both of these
ideas are, technically, just adding the JavaScript to each individual
HyperLink, they would save you the trouble of needing to do it by hand, and
would involve less code.
