Dynamic controls within the days of a calendar control

RCS
I have a calendar control in ASP.NET and based on database data, I add a
control to a day (via the DayRender event). The problem is, I can't seem to
do much with a dynamic control. For example, I want to have that be an
ImageButton (right now, it's an image).

If I make it an ImageButton, then wire up an event (via +=) - it never fires
on postback. I assume because the control no longer exists until very late
in the page load. If I dynamically create a control, how do I wire up ANY
activity to it?? Thanks
