OleDbConnection extended properties

I've set up some visual basic .net code to read a spreadsheet. It
works, but not all the time. Sometimes I get an error where the
Microsoft Jet Engine could not access the spreadhsheet tab name, which
has been entered in the application and I know to be correct.

Here's the code:

MyConnection = New System.Data.OleDb.OleDbConnection( _
"provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; " & _
"data source=" & strFilename & "; " & _
"Extended Properties=Excel 8.0;")

Is there something about the Extended Properties parameter that I can
tweak or make more robust? I've searched this forum but always see
basically this same setup to read Excel.

Thanks.
