Does ASP.NET 2.0 Support Chinese?

We are working on a large enterprise application and the client recently
request the site support multiple language, including many of the Asian
languages. While this doesn't have to be supported now, the site should be
scalable to support this in the future. I have a few questions regarding
this.

While the client needs to have additional languages installed, does the Web
Server / Visual Studio need additional components?

Does SQL 2005 natively support Asian/Other Languages or do you need to
install additional components?

If something has to be installed could it be installed at a later date - I'm
asking this since if something does have to be installed it may affect
performance.

Again, we don't need this now, but just need some guidance on how the site
would support multiple languages in the future.
