XML Link DotNet Integration

Hi there,

im using vb.net to build an application. i am using a third party site
which outputs data in XML format.

I need to link to this 3rd party site to get the xml and then from my
own site i need to be able to search etc on the data. I have imported
this xml into a dataset but it takes quite along time to import the
data. I have also thought that i should import this to my database but
i feel this would also take quite a while.

Can anyone please advise me on the best way or specifically the fastest
way to do this ??

any help greatly appreciated

thanks
CG
