asp.net 2.0 callBack

Its pretty crap that the "enableSortingAndPagingCallback" property of the
gridview doesnt work when you have template columns in the gridview. Thats a
bad bad limitation. Is this going to improve in asp.net 2.0 or do we have to
wait for the Atlas framework?
