Really Stuck! Can't seem to deploy .net with sql express online

I have an asp.net 2.0 application which runs perfectly offline with a
sql express database.

However, when I ftp the files online, I keep receiving a permission
error. The sql server express I have online is working fine with some
other 'asp' applications which I have.

I have googled this issue and there are references to the fact that I
have to add the aspnet user to the sql express database, but somehow I
am not doing this right, as it's not working, I keep receiving a
permissions error.

Can somebody guide me through the steps required in granting my sql
express server the right permission so it will allow my asp.net
application to use it! I am using mixed authentication.

Thank you.
