simple doubt

hi,
i have an excel file. i want to convert that excel file into csv(comma
separated values) file format.

can u give me some idea.

You should probably post this question in an excel forum, but here you go:

Open Microsoft Excel, click F1 to open help, search for: "Export CSV", open
the "Import or export text files" entry (the first one), and follow the
instructions.
